This was mainly from monthly renters as we did not do any advertising for overnight guests but during hunting season every room in town is full. Interior  and outside is of cedar boards.

Come enjoy a summer full of wildlife and flowers. Herds of Elk can be watched in the meadows in spring as grass becomes green and deep. Deer and fawns roam the meadows and moose are seen in town and out of town. Once a lake the meadows are surrounded by mountains. In 1861 gold was discovered and there is still gold to be found in the streams. Population is close to 370 more or less depending on the time of year.

 

Visit us in the winter and bring your snowmobile for over 350 miles of groomed trails and lots of room to play in the snow. Cross-country ski into the backcountry and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
